The year is 2003 when the powerful Mexican narco Julian Perez (Miguel Rodarte) decided to reconcile with his mother and brother John, who fled to America to get away from Julian. Once there he discovers that the only way to retell the favor of his mother is brought back to John, who has enlisted in the U.S. Army and is a prisoner in Iraq
Julian will launch its powerful organization and recruit a group of men consisting of: Veteran Don Chema, the pilot Rosalio, the assassin and enemy of Julian called the Pumice and finally Julian's best friend: the Indian Caramel. The narcos accompanied by the Russian Sasha will be the Iraqi insurgents and American soldiers for the sole purpose of saving the soldier Perez. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Tomateeeeeeeees
Saving Private Perez is one of the most expensive films of Mexican cinema and gives us a funny story and no complex or claims of any kind, such an argument is that one must get used to the idea that this is not The Seventh Seal.
winks Many moviegoers as the horn with the music of The Godfather, substantial references to The Price of Power, and a script that recalls (obviously) to Saving Private Ryan, The 12 of the scaffold and the masterful blend of comedy and action was Kelly's Heroes (one of my favorite movies).
Despite its good intentions, the film has its flaws such as poor characterization of characters (except Julian), is missing more prominence to the members of the rescue command as drug taking their introductory scene almost unnoticed, and scenes such as the pipeline could have been over but the budget if boss.
We see some familiar faces as Gerardo Taracena who remember from movies like Apocalypto (the bastard chase) and the legendary Isela Vega who played Elita, the partner of Warren Oates in Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia.
A film that will blow your brains out and change your life but you'll get more of a smile and a laugh in these times there is little (and is appreciated).
will have to cross our fingers that reaches our screens, though it flows through the network (it premiered March 18, 2011). Tomateeeeeeeeeeeees
