had long wanted to spend a little letters to Fist of the North Star, to see what I get.
Those who know me know that I read comics from my early childhood, especially superheroes pijameros or made in USA (of which shared hosts as breads go). When the 90 came the fashion of Japanese manga and anime it touched me but over time I went away from it all, at heart was not mine except for Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star).
Imagine a character who is the spitting image of Sylvester Stallone (it was the intention of the artist), with an arrogant personality like Clint Eastwood in Leone and lapidary phrases which released Dirty Harry, and to round out the ensemble is seen as the Mad Max George Miller to release it in a post apocalyptic (Miller again) in practicing a martial art gore lethal results. The final product is ideal for a boy manga like me that Goku and Seiya are already beginning to smell rancid.
Buronson
Writer, also known as Yoshiyuki Okamura and author of Sanctuary, a renowned writer particular fan of Sergio Leone, Sam Peckinpah, Walter Hill, Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson (hence took his alias) and prone to violent speech and fascist indoctrination to get get away from the Western reader with laughter. This does not diminish the attractiveness of history but it increases, leaving you wanting more "sentences" to Kenshiro. Example, translation of the cartoon above: bastards! Today you have lost the right to live! . Superman does not speak well.
Christopher Lambert provided his mug to Toki / Ameba.
ran drawings of the large Tetsuo Hara another rare bird which declared follower of the definitive Batman artist Neal Adams. It is rare to find Japanese artists tell you about comic books but admits Hara copy dedicated to cartoons and pages drawn by Adams and the truth is that it shows the influence of the U.S.. In
Fist jetas can find Christopher Lambert, Boy George, Arnold Schwazenneger, Hulk Hogan, Mr T and I could go a while all are honored at the faces of different characters. Hara tends to "colossal" exaggerates the dimensions of the characters in search of funky moments and it is true that his drawings are a bit static but like his buddy gets Buronson flip the tortilla and make their default virtues. Can you tell I'ma fan?
Buronson and Hara tells the story of Kenshiro, the heir to the martial art known as Fist of the North Star. The technique involves pressing some points located throughout the human body called tsubos, they hit in a certain order and with appropriate force can destroy the opponent's body in ways shocking.
Kenshiro is the youngest of four brothers, all adopted by the teacher Ryuken, the relationship with his brothers and his fiancee Yuria search through a world destroyed by nuclear holocaust will be the main focus of the series.
The authors do not hide the fact of having fleeced the universe created by George Miller Mad Max (Hara accepts designs out VHS tapes of the first 2 films) and pass through the sieve of martial arts serial. Rain away from negative reviews, Buronson and Hara were exalted by the instant success of the series that spanned over 5 years (1983 to 1988), TV series, cartoon films and a real image (horrible) and some years a prequel written and drawn by Tetsuo Hara, who lost his sight in one eye, and supervised by Buronson.
The anime was censored in its European release (in Spain was not issued) for the 80 and 90, chapters 20 minutes reduced to less than 10 ultraviolent content. The manga is part of this series but damn cult titles in Spain, twice he tried to edit but always with the cancellation of the series result and talk of a third attempt for 2011/2012 edition, hopefully .
From here I recommend to those interested the viewing of the animated film of 1986, which amounts to a summary of the first issues of the series and includes a ball shaped japanese hard rock courtesy of the Kodomo Band .
The series that has inherited the spirit of the Fist is certainly Berserk Kentaro Miura, does with its 13 chapters and anime freak.
